Field Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, test, and maintain telecom equipment including routers, switches, modems, and fiber/copper lines.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting for service interruptions and hardware issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of telecom infrastructure.
• Respond to service calls and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to company safety policies and industry standards during fieldwork.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and service resolutions.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ITI in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in fieldwork or telecom service roles preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of telecom equipment and network systems (fiber, DSL, wireless, etc.).
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and mobile applications for troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a two wheeler and a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel extensively.
• Physically fit and able to work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, rooftops, etc.).
